दशकों से सर्वेक्षण में उत्पन्न आंकड़ों के साथ, एफएसआई ने भारतीय ईईजेड में मत्स्य संसाधनों पर एक मजबूत डेटाबेस बनाया है। इलेक्ट्रॉनिक प्रारूप में वर्तमान डेटा होल्डिंग में 31/12/2019 तक 100459 रिकॉर्ड के कैच डेटा और 414013 रिकॉर्ड के प्रजाति डेटा शामिल हैं। कैच डेटा और स्पीशीज़ डेटा वाले डेटा स्टोरेज में सालाना लगभग 2000 रिकॉर्ड जोड़े जा रहे हैं।

The data collected are processed and published in the form of Resource Information Series, Bulletins, Reports, Charts, Atlases, Occasional papers etc. from time to time. These data products cater to the needs of a wide spectrum of end users. For details go to Publications.

Extension and User Interaction

Besides dissemination of survey findings in the form of publications, FSI organizes workshops, open houses and exhibitions in different maritime states for the benefit of fishermen, fishing boat operators and those engaged in fishing and allied activities. At the national level, symposia and workshops are organized as a platform for interaction with the industry, development agencies, R&D institutions, scientists, administrators and policy makers.
